This site, and the workroom behind it
A personal site with its own publishing admin: drafts, review, scheduled releases, image uploads, and a drag-and-drop planner. Built with Claude Code from a written brief.
The public pages and a login-protected admin live in one Next.js app. Posts, projects, notes and sites share one content table with a small status machine: draft, in review, published, scheduled, archived. Only published rows ever reach a public page.
What it is built with
- Next.js 16 App Router, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4
- Neon Postgres through Drizzle, with SQL migrations kept in the repository
- Better Auth for a single admin account, sign-up disabled
- Netlify hosting, Netlify Blobs for images, and a scheduled function that releases timed posts every 15 minutes
- Vitest for the status machine, slugs and form schema
The planner in the admin has separate boards per area of work, columns you can rename and reorder, and cards you can move by mouse, touch or keyboard.
